There are many people out there who are having problem connecting PS3 and Acer or other monitors. This video will prove that it works perfectly. My PS3 is using the latest firmware 2.10 now. 1080p supported and very sharp and clear. Much better than my friend's 32" Philips LCD TV Required: -Monitor with DVI input (HDCP Support) -HDMI/DVI cable or HDMI Cable with HDMI to DVI Converter (Cheap) -RCA Phono Female to Male Jack audio or similar (Cheap) What I have: -Monitor: Acer X222W 22" TFT Monitor -HDMI Cable from Game £12 -HDMI to DVI Converter from Currys £2.48 -RCA Phono Female to Male Jack from Ebay £0.99 That's it. It should work fine. I have to admit I got some trouble while setting up this monitor. The down side of using some of the tft monitors (including this) will be: -Cannot play PS1 or PS2 games -Cannot play DVD movies I think that is because the monitor doesn't support lower resolution.
